When you do some editing of your closet and two of the items were difficult to let go. One was a gift, but shrank in the wash and I grew. The other is decades old and I've been holding onto it because, well, it's pretty and holds lovely memories (even if I never wore it.) Then comes Mom to the rescue. Mom and I at her doctor's appointment today. There was paperwork to fill out and the healthcare worker asked if there was "any smoking" and I blurted "She's smoking hot." Everyone in the room started laughing so loudly I'm sure patients had to wonder what the hell. I even snorted. The clinician had to take some time to compose himself, and then finally said "Great answer. I'm saving that to use on my wife." It's never boring when we're together.
