Prompto giggled nervously. The pat she gave on his back made him feel a little better, even if it looked like a forced one. She was there for him, and she was an amazing father. Now, in that world of ruins, every fight was a lot harder than the others. But with Aranea by his side, Prompto needed to understand he was alright. He was stronger than before, and she was an excellent fighter, and a nice person when you got to know her.

Prompto sighed. If he didn’t come with her, he would be left alone, and he didn’t want top be alone in the dark. It felt so weird to spend less time with the bros, and with Noctis in the crystal, he felt more alone than ever. So he needed to go on that hunt with Aranea. Maybe he would feel better, after all. “I-I’m coming, Aranea. I’m sorry I’m... that way.” He didn’t want to be a burden for anyone, and sometimes, he knew he was.
