July 26th, 2014 Araiyakushi I just noticed that July is almost over! It’s been way too hot and extremely humid in Tokyo these days, and I didn’t want to go outside for a while. I didn’t go take pictures in June actually, because of the rainy weather and I was so tired from work. Although it’s very hot and I hate this disgusting humidity, I love Japanese summer very much. There are many festivals in summer time, and I don’t know why but I feel so excited! Araiyakushi is the name of the temple. This temple is one of the most famous temples in Tokyo. I gotta do some research to be able to explain what that is exactly… We’ll it was a nice temple. I found that there was a shoutengai close to the temple, and there were not that many people and shops looked nice. There were some old stores and I liked it. Maybe I should come back here sometime soon and next time I should have a cup of coffee at nice and old cafe.
