For a thing(tm) I tried to draw Aran and Tao more like the lanky 19 year old teenagers they are when we meet them in the story.

ARANS CAT MAKES ME SO HAPPY AHHHH THE ATTEMPTED REASSURANCE!!!

WUHUH RIGHT?!?!?!? Little Fattoush is so good! And she helps Aran a lot! He loves her and she makes him happy too!!

And she was so tiny when Aran found her!!!

Aran and all the characters he gets compared to or tagged as. Be it for his buzzcut, his behavior, or name.

But Aran is Aran Mussa, an original character by Suzanne Samin and me! And tbh, I don't see it!

Ronan Lynch: -Moody pale white guy -The grunge or rock type. I dunno. I don't know him. But he seems to wear skinny jeans and leather jacket and stuff. Prop listens to emo punk. -has a buzzcut which looks more pale?? Don't know how his longer hair looks like. -And wears preppy uniform?? I dunno. Sometimes he wears a shirt and tie. -Has neck/back tattoos?? -Always has ravens around him??

Aran Mussa: -Moody Syrian guy -Wears big shirts and baggy jeans and hoodies. Late 90s early 2000s hip hop style. -Has a dark buzzcut. When his hair is longer it gets really full and curly. -Thick eyebrows and eyebrow cut. -Loves all kind of music but especially hip hop. -Does NOT wear a school uniform nor skinny jeans. Ever. -Has hand/arm tattoos but not on his neck. -Is a cat magnet and has cats around him

Most importantly: I Don't See It! Of course I'm bias. Aran Mussa is an original character and dear to me! And no inspiration have been taken from Ronan. I was only made aware of Ronan once I started to post Aran. And yes of coruse a bias makes you see what you wanna see. If you want to see Ronan you will see him in every guy with a buzzcut. The same way I have gotten almost every comparison for Aran, and the only similarity he had to most of those characters were the buzzcut. Conny from aot?? REALLY??

Does Aran have a favorite scent/perfume? – R.K.

Ohh I've never thought about this And I might projecting, but I feel neither has Aran :D I don't think he has a fave perfume or if there is something he likes, he sure doesn't know the name of it. But as I keep projecting I think he likes scent that remind him of things and moods. Like freshly cut grass, the smell of hot dusty concrete in the summer, the smell of the street court and the rubber of the basketball, things that remind him of good times, and Tao :D And maybe even a scent he barely remembers. Like back from his first home, the sea and the wind.
