random little headcanons for my Lavellan and Solas, since I am firing on all cylinders today as I write my story:
My Lavellan thinks Solas is Dalish — he wears traditional leg bindings and footwraps, after all — but was kicked out of his clan. (Since Solas does say in the game the Dalish attacked him.) Then, she finds out he’s a dream walker — something that is believed to have died out in the Dalish 200 years ago — and she can’t fathom what his Keeper would have been thinking to let him go.
When she hears Solas was going around talking to spirits, though? She’s like, “ooooooh, your clan thought you would get possessed. I kind of understand why they would kick you out then — the whole spirit talking thing is kind of scary for me personally, not gonna lie. But hey, you’re like 40, and you haven’t been possessed yet and probably won't be at this age. Let me apologize on behalf of the Dalish. So tell me about your abilities and the Fade.” 👉👈
