Today was eventful. Thought we were headed down to the ER again with a clogged tube. Then Hailey, our Home Health Nurse, pulled off another miracle and unclogged it here at home. WITH COCA-COLA! I guess if it can take the rust off a bumper it can unclog an NG tube. 👏🎉 When the tube clogged up the pressure blew the tubes right off the machine and sent feed/formula flying. So when I was cleaning up after there were little tan Glucerna droplets all over. Pretty funny. Easy to laugh when the tube is clear and you don't have another ER visit. We have been so grateful and lucky with our care team at Applegate. Blessings. All of them. Mom is sitting up more in her chair. Her mood is better and her energy is slowly slowly increasing. She did a crossword puzzle the other day. From where she was the first week, to me that's huge. Still about another month on the tube and then more tests. It's going to be a journey.
