Viktor is stopped by Jayce when he tries to leave after a shared night. When he decides to stay after all, he struggles with the onslaught of long repressed emotions trying to take hold of him. - A bittersweet moment between the Machine Herald and the Defender of Tomorrow, long before they are able to admit to what they truly feel for the other.

We interrupt our current Superbat broadcasting for some good ol' Jayvik. Something I initially thought up pre-Season 2 and now decided to finish. Their characterization is a blend between Arcane/LoL lore, because as much as I liked the ending of Arcane...I am still very much in love with their thrice-divorced, bitter asshole LoL versions :') It also fits in well with the other Jayvik stories I wrote back during season 1, who had a similar theme going. In an attempt to gather funds for Hextech, Jayce is forced to mingle with Piltover's high-society. He quickly realizes that they show little interest in what he has to say, but certainly are interested in him. Once things escalate against his will, he finds himself unable to deal with his emotions. He decides to swallow it down, keep it a secret from Viktor, and move on…until Viktor one day becomes witness of how Jayce is treated by the so-called elite.

This story was inspired by an idea from @januariat: Link.

I made some changes to it though to fit the flow/beat of the story better.

It is set during the early days of them working together, like end of year 1/early to mid year 2 at most. They are already pretty close, but the Hextech work isn't that far advanced yet.

TW: There is implied SA/rape, without any graphic descriptions. The story focuses on Jayce's struggle to deal with his own emotions and his attempt to basically sugarcoat what he experienced.

Clark comes home to find a bat had crashed through his window. - When Batman ends up being poisoned by Scarecrow, he seeks shelter in Clark Kent's apartment.

Been a while since I managed to finish a story, but the Superbat brainrot is still strong 😭 This one in particular was one of the earliest ideas I ever had, but never really knew how to put down. It all started with Bruce's manic thoughts, and then it just kinda went from there. Thanks for reading!

When an investigation forces Bruce to once again flirt with a suspect in order to acquire much needed evidence, the whole ordeal leaves him unusually distressed. Clark, who accompanied him to help with the case, is the one who has to help him snap out of it again. A story about their personal trauma revolving touching others and being touched, and how they manage to meet in the middle and mend each other's wounds.

Finally got to finish this! 😭 I always loved this contrast between a Clark that so much wishes to experience touch without worry, and a Bruce that by now struggles with the sensation from years of using his body as a mere tool.
