Knowing your interests, I’m guessing this is cyberpunk and/or post-apocalyptic so I’m definitely hunting it up on thriftbooks!

😒 …someone my muse hates. - Slate
“...ya know, didn’t used to have an answer for a question like that,” he said, not looking up at Araxus as he continued stitching the new cinch for Jack’s saddle. “But now I’ve got ‘bout three folk that come to mind.”
Jaw tensing, Slate shook his head once. “One of em is that blond bastard that cut my face up and kept that poor lit’l gal prisoner.”
👪 …someone in my muse’s family. - Heathern
“Slate!”
The Norn didn’t even notice the baffled look that the Charr gave her, but gathered another armful of cured hides and tossed them into the Charr’s cart. “I don’t have any blood family I know about since my parents only had me and they died when I was a baby, but Slate’s been my family for years.”
🔪 …someone my muse hurt in the past. - Saki
Biting her lower lip, Saki reached out to stroke a hand over the ice sphere frozen to the foot of the bed. Her eyes never left the white petals of the lotus flower sealed within it.
“I once told my mother that she didn’t love me,” she said quietly. “It was a cruel, thoughtless thing to say and I regret so much that I’m not able to tell her that I know what I said was the furthest possible thing from the truth.”
💀 …someone my muse would kill for. - Zhirem
The sylvari paused, glancing around the Luxon ship. He didn’t exactly want to be overheard...
“Talia,” he murmured quietly.
🌟 …someone my muse trusts.- Vivi
“Marcus,” she said without a moment’s hesitation. “He is my best friend and I trust him as much as I trust Rorshak.”
The diminutive redhead smiled, adjusting her glasses. “Anything Marcus needs of me, he only has to ask. And I know he feels the same.”
Vivi - Opinion on lying
“When it’s necessary, it’s necessary,” the Priory Archivist said, her grey eyes never leaving the page of her book. “And when it’s not, it makes life unnecessarily complicated. Lying is best left for moments when there is no better option.”
She paused, glancing up. “The wisdom is knowing when those moments come.”
Opinion on death - Catherine
Pausing with her hand buried deep in her haversack, Catherine bit her lower lip. “...it’s a natural part of the life cycle,” she said, sighing.
“And yet... I can’t help but think that it often comes far too soon.”
