Currently, 80% of the world's primary energy supply and 70% of all greenhouse gasses still come from fossil fuels. However, the world energy systems are transforming due to the rapid shifts in technological development, regulations, consumer preferences, and investor sentiment. By 2040 the energy distribution will look like 30% from coal, 30% from solar and 30% from other sources and the non-conventional market will be driven mainly by three countries — China, U.S.A, and India!
