Finished a gift for a friend of mine (none of my friends have a tumbler so i can never tag them...)

This is his hunter from Destiny 2 weilding Arc Strider. Im honestly really happy with how it came out.

I sent this idea to another Destiny blog and loved my own idea so much I started making a Vex oc to put it to use

Ivy

During the red war she tried to follow her hunter friend ,Cayde, to Nessus, unfortunately when Cayde got caught in the warp gate she was captured by the vex.

Rather than kill her outright the vex held her captive in one of those funky gates you see when on Nessus or Io when the Vex have a Cabal captive. She was sure she was going to die but something odd happened to her. The Vex turned her into one of them (Like a certain captain of the Exodus black). However unlike said Captain, she had one thing going for her. Her ghost, named juniper.

Juniper helped Ivy keep her mind away from the Vex collective and she was able to pass as a regular vex while otherwise being completely normal. When the traveller woke up and the light returned she was still on Nessus, Cayde knew Ivy had been changed and was working with Ikora and Zavala on how to help her. She managed to open her own personal vex gate to the tower and surprised everyone, guardians were immediately on guard (hehehe). At least until juniper spoke up and told everyone what had happened. Now she lives back at the tower, occasionally supplying helpful information on the Vex (it’s really rather handy when you can be taken apart and put back together with no pain). She has visited Asher and the two have become friends, while he loathes the Vex and everything they do Ivy offers some hope for him. If she can survive perhaps he can to. Ivy has learned how to open vex portals and can interface with any and all Vex technology. It’s is incredibly helpful for any Vex related strikes or missions.

Ivy was previously an arc strider hunter. Something she thinks helped her with the Vex transformation. She has no real proof of this besides a rather strong feeling about the fact.

Unnamed male fallen (help with fallen names is appreciated)

When this little (huge) guy was a dreg there was nothing outwardly different about him. He worked hard and slowly started heading towards that Vandal promotion. It wasn’t until he had had enough Ether and had grown enough that something was weird. He had wings, they look similar to a bee’s wings and he is fully capable of fight, though keeping himself in the air is hard and he rarely does more than hover.

He tried his best to hide them. Keeping them tucked under his cloak or anything else he could hide them behind. He continue to work hard at whatever his captains or kells told him to and soon he was promoted again. This is when things got messy for him. He had more freedom as a captain of course but he grew a little lazy with hiding his wings. One day they were discovered and he as cast out for having them.

He wandered for years, going from a powerful, respected captain to a fallen who had clearly not been given enough to be healthy. He hide on the tangled shore and stayed away from the spider as much as possible. Only coming near when he had something to trade for ether.

When Uldren and the barons came to the shore he momentarily had a better opportunity. With the Scorn cracking open Servitors he could scavenge the ether he needed. He felt terrible about it though and when he found a Servitor that was badly damaged but not yet broken he stepped in and chased off the Scorn attacking it. This servitor became his own personal servitor and he no longer had to worry about going hungry again. He soon returned to his former strength and size and along with his servitor he formed a new Fallen house. The House of the Lost (always accepting new fallen members. If someone else is already using this for a house name let me know, I got other ideas for this guy’s house name).

He watched guardians come to avenge Cayde and destroy the Barons. He was unintentionally saved by one of these guardians when they were on a patrol, they killed a Scorn abomination that was attacking him. He was curious and decided to follow the guardian on their little adventure. When they turned on him thinking him hostile he tried to explain what he was doing. Instead of killing him the guardian became a friend and took him back to the tower to introduce this curious boy to the others. Ikora and Zavala were understandably worried but he has shown he’s a trustworthy fallen and after a while he moved into the city, wishing to live closer to his new friends and wanting to protect Those who can’t protect themselves.

Choosing one of the damaged districts for his home. He’s been trying to rebuild it with mixed results. He’s decided that if any new fallen join his house this is where they can live. He’s made lots of guardian and civilian friends and children seem to love him. His wings are a point of fascination for many people but they all think they are lovely. He’s all too glad he’s found a little place to call his own. And he has discovered he loves children.
