Angel & Glitch

I'm going to call Ruin Eclipse Angel at least in this post.

Angel was made to be a daycare attendant at their location, though mostly for employee's children. Most days they only had to watch one or two kids and things went great.

When summer hit and business was skyrocketing, Angel was suddenly in charge of more children. Angel was a good attendant but they were designed to handle a few kids at a time, not a dozen. And if not properly reined in, kids can be so cruel.

Angel was sent to a repair warehouse to deal with all the damage. Since they didn't have a new assignment, they weren't priority to get fixed.

Due to a bug, Angel couldn't power down themselves. This combined with their automatically activated battery saving mode, Angel was almost always awake. Thankfully for them, they found a friend.

"Glitch" was a sun ai that survived decommissioning because of his moon counterpart putting his ai chip in an arcade machine. He has a intense hatred of humans. He hadn't been a fan of Angel at first, but he wasn't heartless so he reached out to them.

Angel is delighted to have a new friend, though embarrassed about their ditzy-ness due to being in battery saving mode. They adore Glitch despite his snarky remarks and general prickliness. He grows fond of Angel as well.

Finally a order comes in for Angel and they get fixed up for their new role. Glitch is furious about this at first because he was finally happy and healing. Then even more so when Angel seems so excited.

When confronted about it, Angel is confused because they assumed Glitch was coming with them. They show him an additional port for a secondary ai. Angel realizes with embarrassment, they never asked if Glitch wanted to come. Glitch gives a immediate yes, saying Angel isn't allowed to leave him.

Angel at their new location is in charge of the nursery and they are so happy about it.
