With the copyright stuff that's been going on, how do you gain permission to post the songs on tumblr? Is your song legally bought on itunes and posted here or...?

I used to upload the songs just from my computer (which got me a bunch of copyright infringement notifications that led to the deletion of my old account), but now I just link all of the songs I post through an external url. So far I haven’t gotten any notices about songs I’ve linked externally (though I’ve been doing some research and apparently someone has? Hopefully not, we’ll see). It doesn’t matter whether you’ve bought the song legally or not - it’s about if you’ve uploaded and posted the song directly from a file on your computer.
