Two years ago I changed jobs and went back to school. Two weeks ago I officially obtained my MFA in Creative Writing. With everything going on in the world it didn’t feel real. That is until one of my classmates sent me the program from our Commencement ceremony. (I opted out of graduation due to having a compromised immune system.) Something about seeing my name in print under MFA brought it home for me. Now, a pile of short stories, writing exercises and a novel later - I really feel connected to the words expressed in the message above! I want to thank all the friends, colleagues and family that leant me both support and encouragement.
