I'm posting an old work from early spring, after which my long art block subsided a bit. The sketch version sat on my tablet for a long time🍃
I noticed that drawing was becoming almost impossible because the old style had become boring, and perfectionism completely sapped my desire to finish the work.
But then I was visiting my mom, sometimes helping her with her creative work, and during one of my breaks, I picked up my tablet, found this sketch among a bunch of others, and thought, "Okay, I don't mind wasting it anyway. I'll draw it for the sake of drawing, even if it's not perfect."
Ultimately, the process captivated me so much, and the further I went, the more I fell in love with this work. In some ways, I even leaped to a new level in my drawing.
Yes, I know there are some imperfections, some anatomy issues, but I still love this art no less, knowing the motivation it gave me.
I hope all the artists who are currently going through severe art blocks can get through this and fall in love with their work again as much as before, or even more❤️🩹
