I still remember how it felt, the finale. The emotions so overwhelming that it crystallized into a melody.

Not gonna lie, this is one of the hardest tracks I’ve ever made. It was rewritten again and again throughout the year until it finally reached its glorious evolution.

The first half echoes footsteps supported by a metal cane, the rustle of paper, the whisper of chalk.

The second half rises like magic spiraling upward, ready to die, but never ready to let go.

I feel like the rug has been tugged then ripped out from under our feet but instead of hitting our head on the floor, the floor disappeared and we were strung up by the wrists with fishing line yet we still got a concussion somehow and I just- it- they-

Like a total of two and a half people got a semi-happy ending, and not even two full people and one half person, like .2 of a person got a happy ending and .07 of another person got a happy ending and NONE OF IT IS CLEAR!?!?!?????

You can’t possibly expect me to believe that all we’re getting from here is some possible spin-offs!!????? No, that’s not right, that’s not okay, with the finale, I’ve been left with four answers and thirty five more questions

I don’t even know what to-

I am in shock

I swear it

I’m sorry but that was SO unsatisfying, I CANNOT be left with what we have, there’s SO much we don’t know and not even in a mostly-satisfying manner either

The finale felt like a normal episode and we were supposed to get another half-scene that leads up to the next episode and gives us some semblance of hope or continuation at least but it just ENDED

And then all the spoilers I’d gotten on it beforehand were just about Jayce x Viktor or Powder/Jinx x Ekko like none of the plot happened??!?!????? Yes, I love Timebomb, I love it sosososooso much but are we gonna ignore that Jinx is DEAD!???? I don’t even really wanna entertain the assumption that Vander is dead, mf has gone through that fifteen times in two seasons, I ain’t believing that, also how tf was he still moving when the rest of the automatons (?) were ragdolls???????

It is criminal that that is the series finale
