I understand Timebomb and their dynamic, but I really don't think I could get behind them being together in canon. I feel like a lot of people (even the writers honestly) forget the past Ekko and Jinx actually have with each other and where their priorities lie. Ekko has always been fighting for a better Zaun in his own way. He wants to protect people, to show them a better life, to save them. Jinx doesn't show any true interest in that outside of doing it for other people. She isn't a savior or a revolutionary on her own will; when she is faced with power and responsibility she hides away. Now, this difference is okay on it's own. If they really did just have clashing moral stances then that would be fine, but it goes deeper than that.
Jinx has killed Ekko's friends. She has canonically taken people he has known for years and bonded with and killed them without a second thought. Call me crazy, but I really don't think Ekko would get over this just to be in a relationship with her. I think he cares way too much to do that. He cares enough about Jinx to save her and to make sure she's okay, but he shouldn't just put everything she did behind him and I truly don't see why he would. They could be really good together, their relationship could have been perfect and everything could have been okay, but they are not and that's the point.
