This is an embroidered map of the universe created by Megan Whalen Turner, as part of her Queen’s Thief series.

Though the embroidery is mine, the sketch comes from the venerable Sounis community on LJ.  If I’d been willing to put Methana on the map, the Thief marking the halfway point would have been there.

Alas, my fingers and wrists got really, really tired.  Do you know how many french knots there are in the olive groves? I don’t.

Made with love for my friend, who introduced me to the series (well, told me that the Thief wasn’t a standalone) and whose love for the series is like a plant’s love for the sun.

I have not gotten any entries yet.  I am very sad, but you should be happy because it means that all you have to do is enter and you could win the advanced reading copy of Thick As Thieves.
