Anri didn't receive help from a Dragon Lady, though. The only dragon who helped him was Gotoh and only after Anri had singlehandedly dragon-slayed his way to the Ice dragon Temple where Gotoh was literally living in. TLDR Version: Anri is more badass then Wilhelm and deserves more credit.

Some other info to add to the other asks: Naga died after sealing Tiki in the original game & thus couldn't have met Anri at all. Gotoh's dialogue in all versions makes it clear whilst he's following Naga's orders, they are posthumous. Unlike Wilhelm or Heim, Anri's Kingdom, Altea was very small & weak vassal nation, awarded by Archanea as a consolation cuz he couldn't marry Artemis & then it became smaller after his death. Only under Cornelius & Marth did Altea become a small powerhouse.

Oh, I thought Naga gave him Falchion.

Well, Anri received help from a dragon old man as in, dragon old man gave him Falchion and he went on to defeat Medeus.

Anri being a one man army fits with Marth being humble, Marth knows he isn’t on par with his “ancestor” but he can rely on his friends!

Wilhelm’s the biggest loser here, Enbarr existed before him and his empire, he died before conquering the continent and Rhea killed the big bad. 

He founded Adrestia, got magical blood from Seiros and apparently became her friend. Bar that? We don’t know. So he’s very far from the other heroic figures like Anri, Heim etc...

Nyna of House Archanea for the meme

First impression : So this is the famous Nyna, she looks regal!

Impression now : :’( Kaga had it for her or something? I swear, Archanea FE isn’t roses and sunshines, but Nyna gets hit with the worst of manure and rain from the verse, and given how Valentia and Jugdral belong to the same world, Nyna’s fate being the shittiest in that universe says something!

Favorite moment : the moment where she went “nope” at the prospect of marrying Marth, because she saw how much he and Caeda loved each other. She had good intentions, really, but then it backfired and we know how that ended! Poor Nyna.

Idea for a story : Nyna and Linde being gals pals post FE12 travelling around the world and desperatly trying to find/build a new life after being thrown away from their respective love triangles.

Unpopular opinion : What is unpopular about Nyna? Gendered slurs regarding her relationship with Hardin? I like Nyna and her tragedy, otoh, it’d feel cheap to, idk, do what modern IS implied and go to the “actually Zeke had feelings for but Sirius returned to Valentia because Tatiana was waiting for him not because Zeke loves Tati” path because this path sucks

Favorite relationship : Can I say Nyna and Marth? She’s so supportive in FE11, like wow. For the og “princess advisor who needs the lord to liberate her country” Nyna felt like a real character, being happy for Marth when he liberated Altea, asking him what was wrong, etc. It was nice. Maybe it’s because they’re such good friends that Hardin mistook her friendship for more?

Favorite headcanon : I genuinely want to believe that for the first months/the first year of their wedding, Nyna and Hardin were a happy couple, Nyna didn’t love Hardin as much as he would have wanted, but she loved her husband nonetheless.

Talking about the remakes here bcs i didn’t play FE1/3

First impression : First final dragon boss of the franchise looks like a bored old man

Impression now : Medeus suffers from a lot of flanderization in fandom (evil : the dragon) but i like him, he’s the supernatural answer to “if humans start too much shit i’ll return to wreck things up”

Favorite moment : when he trashtalks Gharnef during SD’s final chapter, saying it’ll be more difficult to fight him than to fight Gharnef... Was he aware Gharnef wanted to backstab him?

Idea for a story : Medeus being the keeper of his earth dragon friends completely convinced that he did the right choice (other earth dragons being sealed) but slowly realising that humans are dastards

Unpopular opinion : uh... what is unpopular about Medeus? I don’t see anyone talking about him that often, bar the flanderization issue...

Favorite relationship : well he doesn’t have a lot of relationships in both games, does he? As pointed out above, I the “i control u no u” thing he seems to have with Gharnef and i’m a bit sad we don’t have anything about Naga’s POV regarding Medeus.

Favorite headcanon : he thinks Loptyr is a poser/douche. Medeus is the proud Earth Dragon Prince/King, he will rather assume the form of a manakete than bind his soul in a book to live “forever” ; Loptyr is not a proud Earth dragon anymore, he’s just a will contained in a book.

I'm so happy they're here, maybe I'll get them later, when I will have orbs, but even if Nyna and Elice's skills are meh, they're finally in the game!
