“I remember when Keira was freaking out about that presentation she had to do in fourth grade,” he said. “You grabbed her by the shoulders, shook her once, and told her to picture everyone playing ice hockey in ridiculous cocktail dresses.”
“Pink cocktail dresses,” I corrected, smiling widely at him. “And hey. She did a wonderful presentation.”
“She laughed the entire way through it,” he chuckled.
“Yeah, but it was very enjoyable for the audience. And she got an A.”
“You’re just lucky Mr Garson had a good sense of humor!”
“Which I knew in advance.”
“Oh, so it was all part of your brilliant plan?”
“Yes.”
He laughed and lent back in the booth. “How Megamind of you.”
“I am Megamind,” I stated, placing my hand on my chest. “Just… without the giant blue… moon-shaped head.”
