I have got to be the luckiest person on the planet. I didn’t get the the guy of my dreams but I got someone better. Someone I couldn’t have imagined. Someone so similar that we can vibe off of one another but so different that I still gotta read him. He’s the sun who’s so well illuminated that he ain’t gotta try hard to brighten up the room. Where I’m the moon who through gloom has to use every fiber of my being to shine through doom. Who has a more humble relationship than the sun and moon? Mutualism. But my sun he gives me everything I need. The happiness he gives me is the fuel from which my soul feeds. His essence is like a 90s R&B jam laid back, mellow, and smooth but with lyrical stories that make your soul move. My sun has warm rays that he wraps around me at night that makes me melt and forget everything else exists. he does more for me than I could ever list. My sun uses his existence to put art back into the earth with his colors. My sun protects the moon- his lover. My sun bought back vitality this moon forgot it knew. And when when we eclipse and I finally get to touch him, it’s like all the emotions I’d been holding in explodes and his rays fit perfectly around my crescent shape. Gosh my sun. He’s irreplaceable. So simple yet no one can take his spot . I’m so glad I dropped the that Prince Charming thing and held out cause now I’ve got my own sunshine, my baby , my rock. The biggest star in this galaxy chose me. And I can’t wait to light up the skies with him for eternity.
