『07.18.17』-《11/100》 Wrote some archi notes despite my neck pain~ you may think the kitchen is all food but there's much much more to it! (´ー`)
「Quick tip: diagrams can be more helpful when trying to understand difficult content! Draw some doodles, maps, or graphs, and it doesn't have to look good, as long as you can interpret it~」
Aratanian architecture is often complex and advanced, especially by comparison to other cultures. Making use of concrete, alloys, and sometimes just good old fashioned wood, modern cities are full of enormous, efficient structures. Oftentimes, these skyscrapers are connected by bridges and tunnels. More rural or suburban architecture may mimic the more rudimentary, rustic buildings of old. The larger cities of Aratania tend to be located near Temper Vents where magic spews in to the atmosphere. Historically, this is where the Aratan got their start controlling the power of the land. The flavour can vary, but the most common is Kinetic Temper, followed closely by Thermal, sometimes together. These vents are generally harmless, but will occasionally cause quakes, rockslides, wildfires and other hazards. If the Temper is anything but Kinetic or Thermal, other strange happenings can be expected...
