Cousin Bonding | Celeste and Ada
Being on the island for only a few days, the princess was quick to figure things out. One for the help of the people she ran into, both pirates and royals, and two from the people watching she did. However, one thing they all commented on was how small the island was and that the few she spoken too, have seen her brothers. Unfortunately, Adalicia wasn’t so lucky in locating her brothers...or any MIA family members for that matter.
Thanks to Beth, she got new clothes and was able to shrug out of her nightgown that was basically just turned into ripped up rags. Oh if Celeste could see her now - she’d call the fashion police in .5 seconds. Ada wasn’t big on fashion but that always why her cousin Celeste turned into her fashion icon - the girl version anyhow. Argo, Ada changed into her new clothes that were just the basic shorts and t-shirt, she wanted to see more of the small - big island.
Desperation was filled in her eyes, all she wanted was to not feel so alone here. She knew more than her siblings were taken but haven’t seen a single familiar face. It was either the Netherlands Princess was bad at scavenger hunting or they were hiding from her and hiding well. The only relief she had was books...stories and thus when she stumbled upon the library she didn’t hesitate to make a b-line for it. Afterall what better way to get your mind off of a f*cked situation than reading a story and getting lost in that world?
Running her fingers along the wooden shelves, she grabbed the books that pulled her in within their first page, for she wasn’t the type of person to base off a good story on the title nor the picture on the cover but what was written on the inside. Damn...if that wasn’t her life’s story.
When she piled about 3 books onto her arms, she walked over to one of the lounge chairs for the first rule that was obviously clear in the library was that the books do not leave the building. Hey, she was going to be here for a while might as well get a few books and get comfy, right? Though when she rounded one of the corners she didn’t expect to see the person her eyes laid first on.
