She finds curiosity in the one who suddenly blocks her view of the stars, dark brows furrowing both in curiosity & mild agitation at the disturbance. Never did she quite get to see the stars so often, & since her descent was made to midgard in means of her own curiosity allowed by GOD to be fulfilled - though remaining too long would leave her entrapped upon the realm for centuries to come. So finding another angel standing before her she finds as an oddity. 

     “You’re. . .What are you doing here ? I was a bit busy. . .”

his body clock doesn’t really register day or night, so to him, it doesn’t really matter. aesthetically, Castiel prefers sunrise and daytime, mostly for the colors. i have a #smol headcanon that angels are rather cold-blooded. they burn like cold fire, veins are golden ice. they’re not very warm creatures--temperature-wise. they burn several different temperatures, and they’re hot and cold at the same time, and Castiel, specifically, leans toward the colder temperature. in that regard, Castiel likes daytime because it’s warm and because he likes the sun.
