Class Clowning • Kang Hyuna
Shape me! Shape the formation, and shape thy will! Shape me!
Can this get... Tapping his pen, Moohyuk reads over the board in a whisper, “Topic: Unusual Applications.” Seeing the word irritates him, as everything is still too unusual for him to comprehend properly. Nonetheless, his dominant hand jots down notes of on-the-spot reaction’s small, yet effective usages to later study. Clearing of throats break the silence, as a trainer attending the session mentions using anything to leverage a dangerous situation into your favor. Our favor? Sure. Transitioning his annoyance into humor, he chuckles for a moment before writing that down as well, running over that fact too many times already. Eyes close in one heavy blink, before Moohyuk shakes his brain awake to remain involved in the discussion.
Desperate for something to keep his attention focused, he glances at the other students present. Each mostly stay in their own sphere, as he does. Nearing the end of his peek, a captivating brunette forces him to linger a little bit longer. Agent 21? An Alpha needing a tactics lesson... wh— He breaks his stare to make eye contact with the speaking instructor, reaffirming his attendance. Another look around points a few more of the Alpha Arcana dispersed throughout the room. In actual realization, Moohyuk decides that a few of these classic classes might benefit everyone, regardless of capability, and so, a sympathetic smirk slips him before returning to the woman again.
Determined furls of his brow and tiny bites of his lip subtly centralizes his thought process. Water... what if I got su— wait! What if you... His thinking oozes out in dialogue, “Refract the li— uhmp!” Quickly, he covers his mouth, checking his peers to assure himself that he did not bother any of them. Regardless, an epiphany dawns upon him.
“Agent 18! Is there something you wish to share?” Clearly his little outburst has put him on the spotlight, Moohyuk standing beside his seat before nodding an enthusiastic ‘yes.’
“I apologize for the suddenness,” providing the listeners with a courteous bow before continuing, “I happened to stumble upon something fascinating.” A curious, yet bothered look comes out of the teacher’s expression, urging him to finish. “I thought to myself what might happen if I fight when soaked in lights, right? I mean, shadows are low and all. Darkness doesn’t do too well with that, I’m sure you all know, but...” Moohyuk halts his speech to eye Hyuna for a moment before speaking up, “Let’s say that a fellow agent like her,” opening his palm to introduce the subject well-acquainted with hydrokinesis, “Surrounds me in water. What happens?”
A ravenous smile no longer hides on his face, excited to share the discovery. “Well, with some positioning, she can give me a source. A source of pure darkness. Not a shadow, but a true space where there is no light. And, all through refraction!” Moohyuk greets the confused looks of the few with a proud smile, concluding with, “Again, sorry for the disruption. It really is an unusual application, haha.” Maniacal ideas pop into his head as he retreats into the comfort of his seat.
