nothing but trouble
@arcjaeyong
It was probably a bad idea tracking Yong down to one of the training rooms and conveniently blocking his route to the only exit, but bad ideas had never stopped him before, and if anyone at the compound was willing to pick a fight with fear itself it was Joon. He had made a truly valiant effort to avoid confrontation, but unfortunately, that just wasn’t in the cards for Joon. He had never given Yong much thought and their paths rarely crossed due to the nature of their abilities, but as soon as Joon caught his eyes lingering on a certain telepath, Yong had his undivided attention. Yong’s movements felt unnatural and calculating, and Joon did not care for it in the least, especially when they involved Romi. When after nearly a week Joon still couldn’t figure out exactly what he was planning, which unsurprisingly did nothing but frustrate him more, Joon decided to take matters into his own hands.
Maybe it’s the tension in his jaw or the deliberate rhythm of his breathing as he willed himself to stay calm but everyone seems clear the room in record time. Everyone except Yong, who doesn’t seem to pay any mind to the anger growing in Joon’s eyes. He doesn’t waste his time with pleasantries because there is nothing pleasant about the encounter, and he had a sneaking suspicion that Yong wasn’t all too surprised to see him.
“Why have you been watching Romi?” It was more of an accusation than a question, and the look in Joon’s eyes said there was no use in even trying to deny it.
