Take the Arctis 7, glam it up a bit, and you have the SteelSeries Arctis 9X. Not only does it work across multiple platforms (PC and Xbox), but it also has both Bluetooth and 3.5mm support. You might have to purchase an Xbox wireless adapter, but if you're strictly a PC-only kind of person and have native Bluetooth support on your motherboard, then you only need to worry about the cost of the headset itself.

Superior Noise Cancellation
Of course, the Arctis 9X has the same ski goggle headband and 40mm neodymium speakers, but an extended frequency response range of 20Hz-22,000Hz for a little extra oomph. (That goes without saying that the Arctis 9X has the same exceptional sound quality.) The battery life is only up to 20-hours, but this wireless headset brings it home with a better mic, a ClearCast retractable bidirectional mic to be exact. It's a welcome upgrade from the Arctis 7 mic.
ClearCast Noise-Canceling Microphone
The Arctis ClearCast microphone uses the same bidirectional design used by aircraft carrier deck crews for superior noise cancelation, so that your voice sounds clear and natural.
More Battery Means More Gaming
Using the latest power efficiency technology, Arctis 9X is optimized to provide 20+ hours of battery life, double that of other wireless Xbox headsets.
On-Ear ChatMix Control
Dial in your perfect balance of game and chat audio on the fly right from the headset without pausing your game.

Premium Headband Construction
One thing we'll never be able to take away from SteelSeries is its knack for peripheral design. The SteelSeries Arctis 9X has some design choices that we personally aren't into, like the green accents in the headband – but on the whole, this headset is just another entry in a long line of pristine peripherals.
Next-Level Comfort
Athletics-inspired performance fabric AirWeave ear cushions and ski-goggle headband keep you cool and comfortable.
Windows Sonic Surround Sound
Totally immerse yourself in the native 3D spatial audio included on Xbox One and Windows 10.
Durable Steel Headband
Premium lightweight steel headband construction for build quality you can feel.

The SteelSeries Arctis 9X is a fantastic gaming headset if you're an Xbox One player. Sound quality is top notch, and the headset is genuinely built like a tank, with a subdued style that we're seriously impressed with.
But, the second you try to use it to play some PC games, it becomes harder to recommend. Sound quality and reliability just aren't at the same level on a gaming PC.
Still, the SteelSeries Arctis 9X might be one of the best Xbox One headsets, and if that's enough for you, this headset is certainly worth your time and money.
