I've had this circling in my head for a while since watching the Uma Musume music video for 'Uma in America'. The full version with four different groups singing the song. Then I remembered that Keferon's Mecha Pilot Jazz AU has a PR stunt with Blurr to get more people to sign up and more sponsors.
A thought occurred to me.
"What if 'Uma in America' but with the Mecha Pilots and certain Cybertronians in the background dancing?"
Here is what my mind came up with using @keferon and @typewritingyip Mecha Pilots in an Uma Musume/Idol situation for a PR stunt.
Just don't ask how certain people would be convinced to do this
This might haunt me in the future out of embarrassment
Groups, which are just what they are called in Transformers canon or in the Mecha AU more or less with a bit of an explanation for the group. Also influenced by the song's lyrics' lines "Stay by my side" and "Show me the goal"

The main four that are followed throughout the Arcturus One series by Typewriteryip. Sticking them together with Mirage because he goes through so much emotional stuff from where I left off in part 2. Knockout is the backup if he isn't busy with work.

Cybertronian in the Background: Deadlock
Most of Arcturus Three's group with Ultra Magus with them since I think he is a Mecha Pilot in the Arcturus Mission series. I'm ignoring it if he is dead in this AU and instead making him retired just for this wacky song. Ratchet is part of another group because of reasons explained later. Deadlock is with this group because he knows most of them and Ratchet asked him.

Mecha in the background: Vortex
One of Keferon's Mecha pilot groups. Didn't feel right to separate them, but felt right to have them in here for humor. Other reason could be that Swindle forced them for a PR stunt and convinced Onslaught to do this somehow. Vortex managed to get the spot by hacking. First Aid is 'piloting' inside...maybe inside of Vortex.

The main four story lines of Keferon's Mecha Pilot AU besides the ShockOp and LostRod. Got to put them in a group. For in universe explanation, Blurr needs someone to monitor him on stage because of his injuries. First Aid is capable but needs help because he can't keep up with Blurr's movements during the choreography. In comes Ratchet who deals with Mecha Pilots and a Cybertronian who is actually a grumpy cat. He is able to keep up with Blurr better and has medical background to monitor Blurr's constitution. Jazz volunteered to be in a group with Blurr and got accepted. Prowl somehow got roped into dancing in the background but is too stiff, so Swerve joins him out of second hand embarrassment. Mostly. Swerve just wants to jam

Got to include the Reverse Mecha Group with Tarantulas since I actually don't know who else could be the fourth and works with the Mecha Pilots in the reverse AU. Optimus is not in this at all besides seeing how to make this as training that can be used to battle Quintessons. Tarantulas is being blocked from Prowl at every point in the performance.
