trick or treat! 👻
could be a trick, but it’s shaped like a treat!
okay, I’ll bite, who is Qi Rong from Tian Guan Ci Fu?
Imagine for a moment you are Lang Qianqiu, crown prince of Yong'an, a very nice young man with a nice swordsman who is training you and you get your mom gifts on your birthday because you're just that nice.
On your seventeenth birthday you go to the banquet only to find it's a massacre and your swordsman master pulls his sword out of your dying father, your dead mother in his arms, and then he claims the whole massacre is his doing, and then he bails. You catch him and then stake him through the heart and then bury him alive in a coffin for good measure, and then try to salvage the country you are now abruptly the king of.
Like five hundred years later after you've ascended to godhood, you find your evil swordsman master is apparently immortal, stayed in the coffin for a century because he just felt bad about the whole thing, but he keeps trying to take full credit for the massacre. You tell the Emperor in hopes that he will be punished for killing your whole family, and also he refuses to justify his actions. For all you know he just felt like it.
He runs away from heaven and so you chase him down with his evil ghost king boyfriend, challenge him to a duel, and then promptly lose because he just tied you up with his weird sentient silk rope. He tells you if you actually fought him you would die because he'd destroy you. His fuckass boyfriend then turns you into a little doll and says there's something you need to see, and then drags you and your swordsmaster into a cave for a different ghost king who is kind of annoying but never really been on your radar.
And then you come face to face with This Fuckass Ghost.
And then you find out that he's your swordmaster's first cousin, they grew up together, and they were both princes of the kingdom your kingdom conquered and subjugated a couple centuries before you were born. And this fuckass ghost was actually behind the massacre, and made no secret of where he was from and that it was revenge. And that your dad's last words were to condemn the kingdom he'd already subjugated and to demand the deaths of everyone still descended from that kingdom.
Your swordsmaster, who refused to ever admit he was from that kingdom, took credit for the whole thing specifically to protect the descendants of his own citizens, and also to protect you, so you wouldn't go all genocidal about it and kill all his remaining subjects. And also he lied to your face about it for five hundred years.
Then, while having to deal with All That, this fuckass ghost who killed your whole family is also currently trying to kill a bunch of kidnapped humans to turn into soup, so naturally you kick his ass, toss his body in his own soup pot, and free all the kidnapped humans. Only to find out that you did not in fact get rid of him, that was not his actual body, and now you have to go find him and avenge your family.
Many months later, you eventually find him when he walks into heaven at the side of the Emperor, who the entire heavens just declared a civil war on because he's evil. He has a kid for some reason, who seems to like him. He's apparently been crashing with his cousin, your evil swordsmaster, who you've been avoiding and so you never found him. You eventually manage to capture and extinguish his soul, you've avenged your family, yay!
His weird eight year old son is now clinging to your leg sobbing because you killed his dad and he wants you to resurrect him. You find out from your swordsmaster that Qi Rong kidnapped this kid when you killed him the first time, that his original father sucked, and that Qi Rong was actually??? Good for him somehow??? And almost died saving him just now before you captured him???
So you have no other choice but to gather up the bits of his soul and stick them in a pickle jar. For his eight year old son. Who you sort of have to take care of now because no one else is going to. And now you have to coparent with your enemy who killed your whole family, who is also mostly dissipated, and you just have to deal with that.
And that's what's going on with Qi Rong and Lang Qianqiu. They are the most hilarious ship to me and it's only funnier if Qianqiu falls in love actively against his will.
All right, I know you're dying to answer this too, so I'll break my rule about not sending you asks just this once:
Would you rather fight one horse-sized duck or 100 duck-sized horses?
It's quite unnecessary, Miss Arda. I do not want to put you in an awkward position.
But since you asked:
I have already given this some thought, actually. I'm certain I could win against either, so what it comes down to is the question of which I would rather fight.
The horse-sized duck fight would be more irritating, I think. It may use its advantage of flight from time to time, and without a long-range weapon, I would have to wait until it came back down. A few swift cuts with a sword would take it down, but the battle might be longer than it needed to be with those delays.
I would choose 100 duck-sized horses. My strategy would be a combination of slashes and kicks, requiring my precise footwork and carefully honed instincts in order to keep up the continuous attacks. The stamina required would not be a problem, and any lucky bites would not cause enough damage to slow me down. Ultimately between the two, the battle would be more thrilling.
Happy Birthday Inspector Gregson!!! What do you want for your birthday?
"W--whaaat!?" "It's my birthday?" "Huh, come to think of it..." "That must be why the kid got me that book as a present..." "I'd have been more touched if I didn't know she'd pinched it." "As for what I want... ehh, I don't know. I don't need much."

Have you played/watched The Great Ace Attorney?
(Merry Christmas!! <3)
I have!!! Not all the way, but I have some! It's one of the few Switch games I own :)
Merry Christmas to you too!!! and happy new year! 💕💕💕
Peppermint, Chai, and Spearmint!
Eeeeeyyyy, an ask! Thank You for dropping in💕
Peppermint: Sweater weather or beach days?
Oh, I do love basking in sun on a lovely day but I've got too many vintage clothes made of a lil bit thicker materials to say no to a cold day! So, sweater is in play! :D
Chai: Favorite color combination?
Hmmm, although the colours I use in my edits are constantly changing, I think that one of my favourite colour combinations is yellow/orange + blue!
Spearmint: What’s an interesting fact about you?
Speaking of colours, here's a thing about me (I hope you find it interesting, hahahah) it's not that I " don't like a particular colour" because I think that each colour has it's own thing going on! That's why I try to give each colour "a chance" and try to wear it/use it in my edits until I see its value!
💕💕
journal: would you dye your hair if you had the opportunity? why or why not? painting: in what ways are you creative? pink eyeshadow: pasta or pizza? (I hope the sadness eases soon <3)
Thank you @arda-ancalima!! This made me smile, thank you so much! 💙
Journal: would you dye your hair if you had the opportunity? why or why not?
I love fun colored hair, but I just don’t think it would look good on me, lol. A pastel pink would be really pretty, or even silver. I have thought about going blonde, but I’ll probably stick with my natural color for a while.
Painting: in what ways are you creative?
I looove world-building, character creation, and plots! I always have some idea spinning around in my head and I’ll think, “that would make a great story! I need to write that.” But I actually never write it, lol. I have a slight problem with executing my ideas. I think I’m more of a visionary, if that makes sense? Although I think it’s fear of failure that’s holding me back from writing, so I just need to push past that already and just write. I’m certainly not going to improve without practice. At least, that’s what I keep telling myself 😂
Also, I think one of my strong suits would definitely be design, especially interior and fashion. I could (and have) spend hours on the sims building and designing houses from the ground up. I’ve also downloaded waaay too much custom content clothing for my sims to wear aksjsksks my hard drive hates me
Pink eyeshadow: pasta or pizza?
Pasta, all the way! Every single time I’ve tried to make a homemade pizza, it’s a disaster, and the last several times I’ve gotten take out pizza it’s been pretty crappy quality lol. Pasta never disappoints me though. <3
♦ - quirks/hobbies headcanon for Ahsoka, ☯ - likes/dislikes headcanon for Obi-Wan, and ☆ - happy headcanon for Anakin
Thank you! :)Quirks/hobbies for Ahsoka: I think Ahsoka quite enjoys teaching/spending time with younglings during her spare time. It makes her feel less like she has to grow up super fast. Other than that I picture her enjoying more active hobbies. She doesn’t quite have the patience for reading or board games. She likes sparring and maybe Anakin even gives her some pilot lessons.
Likes/dislikes for Obi-Wan: I think Obi-Wan is the least picky eater ever. He likes just about every kind of food, or will at least tolerate it. He also secretly loves any type of alcohol but hates smoking. I think he prefers warmer weather over cold weather. He likes animals. He greatly dislikes heights and also gets motion sick very easily.
Happy headcanon for Anakin: I think Anakin would have been a good dad to Luke and Leia. Not just that, he would have LOVED being a dad. He’s the kind of person who would show strangers pictures of his kids and brag about their most minute accomplishments. He and Leia would have gotten along particularly well.
