Ardenfall Truly Needs More Publicity
I decided to try the Ardenfall demo, which is an Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind-inspired RPG, set in a fantasy world that can best be likened
Just looking at this game makes me want to use my computer for Steam again. This game looks like what the doctor has been ordering for a while. It even looks like you can use a controller with it!
From what I've seen I really like the art direction, the aesthetic design -- alien biomes are cool, and unique fantasy worlds to explore -- along with systems that look deep, like they use real rpg mechanics. Then there's the degree of freedom offered by levitation magic, which Bethesda stripped from Elder Scrolls after Morrowind.
I quit using Steam when I got a Switch but this game might single-handedly bring me back to pc gaming. Not sure if it'll work on Linux or not...I could try the demo and find out
