(Disclaimer: I posted 90 Arden Park yesterday, but due to the uncharacteristically lukewarm response, I got the feeling y'all really wasn't feelin' that shit! I must admit that the photo really didn't capture the home's entrancing beauty. So, to rectify this, I went out and got some brand new shots, just for you. Enjoy!) This resplendent Tudor home was designed by Frederick J. Winter for Byron F. "Barney" Everitt, co-founder of the Everitt, Metzger & Flanders (E-M-F) Motor Car Company. It was later sold to Clayton Albert Grinnell of the famed Grinnell Brothers Music Store. It was put on the first time in 70 years in 2015, as the same family owned the property over that span. The listing described the home as an "urban palace". It sold in April 2015 for $525K. #Detroit #ArdenPark #TudorRevival #EnglishRenaissance #archi_ologie #oldhouselove #casasecasarios #houses_ofthe_world #beautifulhouseoldandnew #RawDetroit #PureMichigan #PureMittigan #MotorCityShooters #PureDetroit313 #DepictTheD #VisitDetroit ##Michiganders #IGersDetroit #detroit_igers #ThisPlaceMatters #ThisPlaceMattersDetroit #MichiganPlacesMatter (at Arden Park-East Boston Historic District)
