I felt nothing over Infinity War Part I. It was obvious from the start that Thanos had to win, so I guess I was hoping for more time to attach myself to the characters, but there were too many threads to make each one meaningful and tbh it was a bad idea to start with tearing down all the good fuzzies from Ragnarok.
In response to this for @ardentsoldier!
Honestly could the shift get any worse? Being around other galra on the ship was stressful enough, background or not, but each event during this day just added another ridiculous irritant on top of each one. Claws tapped the back of the pad she was carrying, thinking and quietly fuming. Not damaging of course, she couldn’t be that foolish here.
Didn’t stop her from occasionally striking a foolish move in other cases.
She wished she hadn’t even seen the glimpse of whatever it was as the Lieutenant twisted around, but the tense pause and flicker of gold in briefly widened eyes is perhaps enough of a hint.
Even as she reigns in quickly, blinking once than twice. Not normal certainly, even for everything on this ship, so how was she supposed to react. A cleared throat is a start- he’s not in a private office, as she assumed the blinking light meant... still-
“...Commander, Throk had some, deliveries for you.” Caught off guard made it a little harder to play off something as well as she was usually capable of.
@ardentsoldier OwO you called?
In between commissions doodle-- Admittedly I have been laughing so hard ‘cause he’s just so disappointed. You can just hear the “You’ve reached new levels of stupidity, you must be so proud.” // @ardentsoldier

Haxus was an utterly beautiful man - and intimidating, and cold.
Cairis wondered what heat from him would look like and feel like. She thought about being kissed by Haxus. She couldn’t help wanting to know what his mouth felt like against hers. She thought about being wanted enough that he’d lay hands on her in an enticing way.
Those elegant, nimble hands...
She couldn’t help but wonder what being wanted by Haxus felt like. The mere thought of being the focus of his passion made her flush with heat; her fingers flex and curl with the need to grab hold.
She had the thought that passion from him would be as far from cold as anyone could get.

She RAN.
As fast as her legs would carry her, as swift as the breeze, STUMBLING over foot, left, right, left, right again, LEFT HAND AGAINST THE WALL, panting. She swung herself around a corner and positioned herself on the ground, HOLDING HER GUN TIGHT, eyes tightly shut and trying to control her breathing.
To be taken at such a DISADVANTAGE was almost comical. She was unaware, so brutally u n b e k n o w s t to the intruder, that his infiltration caused her to be reckless, stupid, and WEAK.
Allura could only cover her mouth with the free hand on the trigger, and pray to the GODS he didn’t see where she went.

Of all the things Krie expected to see during their excursion into the Mylmarian jungle, an injured Galra soldier was not one of them. To say she was surprised when he stumbled into the clearing where she had made camp was an understatement. Jumping up, she grabbed for her harpoon, which she had stabbed into the loose soil nearby while she had been preoccupied with preparing her supper. Injured or not, she had no way of knowing whether he would be violent, and it was better safe than sorry.
“Don’t come any closer!” she cried out sharply, and then in a much calmer tone, “Do you need help?”
