Allison had been taken by surprise, too distracted by her defeat of the Oni that had gone after Isaac to realize the other had come for her until the blade shot through her body. There was pain, for a moment, confusion lacing her features as her face changed and her gaze connected with Isaac and then Scott. The wound was brutal and the blade sliced with precision, hitting multiple organs. Allison could already feel her body getting colder as she stumbled, time seeming to slow down, and then she fell. Suddenly aware of how lucky she was that the Oni hadn't gone for her head like they had tried to do with Isaac, she realized that she wasn't completely sure what a demon's effect could have on her. This wouldn't be something she would immediately heal from, that was for sure, but would she heal at all? Was she really going to die? Or would this be like a snap to the neck where she would she would die briefly before coming back as all vampires did when wounded similarly?

And then blackness had taken over as she lay in Isaac's arms. Scott sat at Isaac's side next to Allison as the minutes ticked by. The others stood to the side, no one speaking, only waiting and wondering the same thing Allison had before her heart stopped. After a few moments Scott had looked over to Kira finally explaining what Allison was as Isaac held onto Allison tightly, unwilling to let go even though he was suffering from his own wounds. They had to believe she would awake up soon. Vampires couldn't die from being stabbed with demonic swords right?
