I’ve Got Next || Seulgi & Alex
Recently, Seulgi had spent a lot of time procrastinating, and this particular day was no exception. Her impending graduation from SOPA was right around the corner, and unlike her friends, Seulgi did not get into a company via her audition to Nova, so she was having to look for work in the non-trainee world. That’s what she had set out today after school, but instead found herself in one of her usual after school hangouts, the arcade at the mall. She found playing video games was semi-therapeutic for her, especially when she was taking on opponents that didn’t think she’d be able to beat them at fighting games, especially Super Street Fighter IV.
Yet again today, she had boys from other schools come up to her and offer to “teach her to play” or some less subtle way of attempting to pick up this girl that had come into “their world”. She always gave them her best innocent expression and told them she was more of a “hands on learner” and would do better if they played the “other player thingy” against her. And then she would destroy them thoroughly.
She tried to contain her smirk as her most recent victim walked away with his head bowed and ego bruised. “Aw, you’ll do better next time, I’m sure of it~” she called after him, laughing to herself. It was then she noticed she had been being watched. “You want to play?” she asked the girl that had been standing nearby. “I’m sure you’ll put up more of a fight than he did~”
