A concept that has been brewing in my mind is heavily related to the Arena Combat mode, especially the player..... Especially when they'll free themselves from the time-loop.

Like what happens to them ONCE they're free? Will they ever be the same? (Absolutely not)

sometimes i scroll back through my madness project nexus screenshots to explain the lore to someone and i see the screenshots from arena combat and just get sad again. what do you MEAN the player is the weight that pulls enmeshment through the mandatus and that none of this was even for their benefit anyway?? what do you MEAN their sacrifice is their reward??? man they’re forced to relive the only bit of life they’re ever known for all eternity and everyone else who knew them only ever saw them once
