Les Arènes de Lutèce: C’est ensuite aux Arènes de Lutèce que nous nous rendons. C’est ici, jadis, que la population Gallo-romaine assistait à de sanglants combats de gladiateurs, mais aussi à des représentations théâtrales ou encore à des naumachies (simulations de batailles navales). C’est lors des travaux Haussmanniens que les arènes sont redécouvertes et aménagées en un square. On peut y voir quelques restes aujourd’hui tels que les gradins, l’emplacement de l’antique scène ou encore les cages où étaient enfermés les lions. Chaque été les arènes reprennent vie notamment par la présence du cinéma en plein air.
