Ryld gets a little out ahead and swarmed by Death Knights in Darkness Falls Quest VI. Because we’re a little ahead experience-wise (because we played Arcane Portal) the scenarios haven’t been super-challenging, but this one definitely pressed us; the Death Knights are super dangerous, and the Skeletons are hard to put down. Looking forward to the final showdown in the next quest. Sword & Sorcery has been totally enjoyable, despite its significant rules load. I suspect after finishing Darkness Falls we’ll probably take a break before tackling Vastaryous’ Lair, just because our little threesome that has been plowing through this has probably taken about 9 months or so to do it (admittedly playing fairly irregularly) and it might be nice to have a change of pace for a bit - although Vastaryous’ Lair does look pretty cool. I’ve been playing Volkor the Dragonborn this whole time; there are so many cool and interesting character choices in the game (if you got the Kickstarter edition anyway) that it might be fun to mix that up a bit too. #bgg #boardgamegeek #boardgames #aresgames #swordandsorcery https://www.instagram.com/p/BnDjN-vBmei/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=b75ktlsvtndu
