HE DOESN’T EXPECT IT FROM ROY-- though lately, he finds himself more detached from reality. Everything is SO MUCH HARDER with Wally gone. It’s been a few months, he’s TRYING to cope with the fact that his boyfriend (now... ex-boyfriend, he supposes) is either DEAD or TRAPPED in a vortex that he may never escape from.

Maybe that’s why he seems to have LATCHED onto Roy recently, taking comfort in the affection of ANOTHER REDHEAD. 

The kiss to his chest makes his heart skip a beat; eyes closing, Dick breathes in deeply, trembling on the exhale as blue eyes open to meet Roy’s. MAYBE IT’S AGAINST HIS BETTER JUDGEMENT but scarred hands reach to cup Roy’s cheeks, tugging him into a rather ROUGH kiss.

HE’S NOT WALLY, BUT HE DOESN’T NEED TO BE. All Dick wants is to drown out the sorrow, and if this is the easiest way to do it? SO BE IT.

It's been a hell of a long day even without being shot at, and he feels it, but he is, for a lack of a better word, hyped. They can't afford to slow down now, scream his bones, the trail is still too hot, and for a split second he thinks about ignoring him, let the kid learn what being tired feels like --

But a glance is enough to remind him Roy isn't a drama queen about this, and things only get more dangerous when you go into them half-dead already.

A barely audible sigh. "Alright. Take five." He has precisely one muesli bar left in the corner of his quiver, and he digs it out and wordlessly sets it down on the nearest rock.

"I'll catch up to you." Or you to me, more likely than not.

“R-Roy?” He whispers, hands shaking as he sits with his head between his legs. Oliver curls and uncurls his hands before grasping his hair with his hands. “One, two, three, four..” He whispers in a shaky breath, before inhaling deeply and repeating the numbers.

Oliver lowers his bow and turns to face Roy as the last bad guy falls dead to the ground. “You did great, like always.” He speaks with a smile. He lowers his hood and approaches the other archer. A hand reaches up and cups the other’s face. He flashes his teeth as he smiles wider, to show Roy he meant no harm. He pulls Roy closer by his waist, leaning in and kissing the other softly.

He curls his hand around the other’s waist as they kiss. His other hand strokes Roy’s face before curling around the back of his neck, gently. He pulls back slowly, resting his forehead against the other’s.

He's just layin his head on Dinahs lap and really playing up his cast arm. Baby wants affection.

A soft chuckle comes from the older woman as she fully accepts the young man's actions, a soft playful pout appearing on her lips like a mother would to her toddler who wanted a kiss to their 'boo boo'. "Oh boy-o, I'm sure it hurts a lot. You poor, poor thing." Hands that when in uniform are nothing but rough are the softest thing at that moment as she cups his cheeks and leans down to peppers a few kisses along his forehead before sitting back up, finger's gently carding through his ginger locks as she smiles down at him. "My sweet little arrow."

The words, no not just them but his voice seem so far off as she continues to stand taunt and ready. White knuckles are a stark contrast to the dark material of her bowstring as she keeps it pulled tight, arrow strung and aimed on a now empty area where the League of Shadow's general had just been standing ready to end her existence if given the chance. There aren't many people that t hey face that she's feared for her life against but she had seen the league's work up close and personal before . Things had been going okay until she had fallen a step behind in combat, causing her fight instinct to falter to one of flight as she grabbed a sharp tipped arrow to counter the action of the other about to throw a kunai; aimed right at her throat. It's not until she feels his grip on her wrist that she's slowly coming back to reality, the ache of her probably fractured cheek causing her head to spin as stormy grey hues focus on the redhead in front of her.

Jason’s raising a brow, an amused smile on his lips before he can catch it, cigarette hanging between his lips. “You’re a real idiot, ya know that? You’re lucky you’re pretty enough to make me keep ya around, gingersnap.”
