I dunno if you have seen that post, whoch is floting around tumblr, but anyways a lot of ppl are reporting that a lot of asks are getting lost. (They received maybe 1/10 asks) so you might not get some of the reports if you only allow asks. And sorry I can’t link you to the actual post but I’m on mobile rn.
I don’t have any issues getting asks like some people, at least no one has told me they sent an ask and never got a reply. Given the amount of duplicate reports i get, i am willing to take that chance simply to save my sanity. CC gets reblogged a lot and there is no way to filter for reblogs with comments, i don’t see all the tagged posts people do, and I have IM off because of bots and people asking questions they know not to. So asks are the best way here on tumblr.
If people really do have an issue, there are more then welcome to comment on my blogger as everything goes through moderation so i am guaranteed to see it (it is also anonymous if people prefer).
