Hey JD I just wanted to say that I really appreciate everything you've posted over the past few days about prison abolition. I know how much people like to come bursting in like "but what about the MURDERERS??!?" like you personally are responsible for teaching them about a philosophy that has been around longer than they've been alive. Anyway I just wanted to send you some support and solidarity. Fuck prison and fuck cops.
fuck yeah! i didn’t talk about prison and police abolition on this blog for most of its existence mostly because i didn’t want the Drama, but it’s probably the issue i care the most about so it’s been slipping in lately, lol. introducing the idea to people who are receptive is worth it for the most part. i am however going to keep anons turned off for the foreseeable future because hoo boy! people have no chill.
