On this day 48 years ago - Devo released their first 7" vinyl single.

"1977 Driving to Queen City Records in Cincinnati with Mark to get the single pressed, printing the three-fold custom sleeve we designed together and then assembling all one thousand copies of the Jocko Homo / Mongoloid single in Bobbie Watson’s Akron, Ohio apartment with the help of Bob Lewis and Susan Massaro proved to be the height of the true collaboration and art collective labeled as DEVO." - Gerald V.
