Alone time at last
So volumes 1-3 had Blake and Yang interactions but lots of other characters were present too so interactions were kind of thin on the ground with a lot going on.
It was also more family friendly and didn’t really go into a lot of the deeper themes yet.
Now we’re in volume 6 and the cast is a lot more focused and condensed as well as the show being more mature. Yang is still pining and a little hurt, Blake is more sure of herself and more developed. They’re both back together and will be travelling for quite some time. It’s the perfect setting for the bee’s right now. The time for them to bond even more than they have is right now. The time for them to get even closer than they have is right now. They’re ready.
