“If I didn’t reek of all things swimming in the ocean, and if I wasn’t currently soaking wet, I’d punch you for that remark,” Danny muttered, tightening the blanket around his shoulders as he glared at Steve. “I wore a suit yesterday to testify in court and you didn’t say anything but today, I get thrown into the ocean by a whack job and now I’m attractive? I’m not sure if you need to get your eyes checked or if you’re just mocking me but either way, shut up.”
“You always look good, I didn’t think I needed to point out the obvious. However, considering there’s seaweed currently attached to your shirt and your hair has been flattened by the water, I thought you could use the reminder,” Steve countered, pouting a little as he sat down next to his partner on the stretcher.
