current mood: simmering with rage

so I was at work reviewing paperwork for what we produced today and as I’m going through, I notice that one of our average weight checks for the hour was below the weight we say on the package. Now, right on the paperwork, it says that if this happens, everything back to the last acceptable check should be placed on hold, so my coworker calls shipping to tell them to do this, only for that guy to come back with a, “sweetie, that doesn’t matter. there’s an allowance for that. we’ve never done that before.”
