I feel like I may have told you this before, but I don't care, I've gotta say it again: I love, Love, LOVE your portrayal of Fraxus and Freed and Laxus in general and just all of the Fairy Tail Characters. Fraxus stuff is so often so ooc or sexualised or both and you're like the one shiny beacon sometimes. I've read all your Fraxus stuff about a million times and i just binged it again over christmas. Thank you. (your art's also really cute)

Fraxus is my fave FT ship and there used to be just so few of us actively making content for them in Tumblr. To see this much love and support for them now is amazing!

God, just that little snipped got me really thirsty for more of the riverside au *^* i /love/ the way you portrait fraxus (your charas are so on point, it's amazing) and i really like that you don't automatically turn every character gay, just because they are.

Aww, thanks! I’ve got a lot of fic ideas for different fandoms right now so I’m struggling to balance them all out, but the FT Riverside AU is high on that priority list.

Since I really can’t come up with a novel format for the plot, I’m considering making it a bunch of interconnected one-shots (something like a series in Ao3) and experiment with a non-chronological order. I thought it would be interesting to play around in this AU that way. I also think it would be easier for me to produce content like that considering my current busy schedule.

Anyways, I’m happy you like it so far! The original Riverside universe is filled with queer characters (everyone! is! bi!), so it’s interesting to use that setting for my fave FT characters. A little heads-up though, the Freed/Laxus relationship in this series may or may not remain platonic (I’m still deciding!), but rest assured they have a very special bond and have one of the closest relationships in the AU.

I’ve probably grabbed about the same number maybe more like 15 but not a lot. I’m kind of dissapointed in whatever system is used to select the islands you go to.
