The dazzlings first appearance was in the Mlp equestria girls rainbow rocks movie. They tried to use their siren magic to hypnotize the students of Canterlot High School. They wanted the students and the whole world to do "their bidding" They sung songs like "battle of the bands", "Under our spell". "Welcome to the show". They got defeated by

twilight sparkle,

Pinkie pie

applejack,

rainbow dash,

fluttershy,

rarity

sunset shimmer.

They lost their powers due to their pendants around their necks breaking. They ran away but that was until they came back in "sunsets backstage pass" with the song "find the magic".
