Both Arianna and Lexi have the "I don't want to be trapped by a relationship" thing. But they stem from a different place.
Arianna
Arianna’s been in relationships where people tried to change her, whether it was partners or even family. So now, she sticks to casual flings. No commitment, no pressure, and she gets to just be herself. It’s safer that way. No chances of her losing herself in a relationship. But then she meets the MC, who doesn’t want her to change at all… and that throws her off more than she expected. And she's having trouble trusting that.

Lexi
Lexi, on the other hand, isn’t afraid of people so much as standing still. She’s an adventurer through and through, and the idea of staying in one place for someone? That’s never really been on the table. But hanging out with the MC starts making her wonder if maybe there’s something worth sticking around for, and honestly, that freaks her out a bit.

Anyways I just thought it was interesting how similar they were but also how it comes about in different ways. Arianna's an artist. Self expression and being herself is important to her yet people try to stifle that. Lexi is an adventurer. She lived in a small lake her whole life and now she gets to explore. Staying in place, settling down, and being boring scares her and makes her want to bolt.
