Aera’s got a crush.

Why, on Mr. Crispy Chicken Stand, of course.

To clarify, Mr. Crispy Chicken Stand is this adorable little chicken and beer place that opened up down the street from Aera’s condo, like, two weeks ago, and she’s already super close with the owner. One could say that she’ll soon ask for the owner’s blessing to marry Mr. Crispy, whoever that is. The point is this: they serve some of the best chicken Aera’s had in her entire life, and she would be honored to be the future Mrs. Aera Crispy-Jeon.

Right now, though, they’re in the casual phase where Aera’s seeing other chicken shops, but she’s very much ready to go exclusive with Mr. Crispy Chicken Stand. In fact, that’s where she’s headed right now: to go celebrate her new boyfriend Mr. Crispy with some nice chicken wings and a couple cans of beer. It’s while she’s on her way that she sees a familiar figure walking ahead of her. Do her eyes deceive her? Is that...

“The one and only... IIIIIIIIM JOOAAAAE!” She cries, bolting at full speed without thinking about how awkward it would be if it weren’t Jooae. Here’s hoping that probably-Jooae is ready to catch a flying hug from the second-tallest Jeon.

What’s the next step in your career, solo or otherwise?

8. If you could spend an afternoon with your fandom/your artist’s fandom, would you want to? If so, what would you do together?

I would, but I think only if it were set up by our management, especially if it’s a big group of people. If it’s just a couple Gens, I think I’d be fine with that. Going on a walk through a botanical garden would be fun, and you can do it any time of the year.

How well do you deal with crowds and attention on you?

During my idol days I was still getting used to having a lot of attention on me, but I’ve always been okay with large crowds. These days as a trainer I don’t really have to worry about either because most of the time they’re not focused on me anymore, at least not from the public aside from (T)AIM’s fandom.

What is one thing you never leave the house without?

It’d have to be my phone, of course! I feel naked without it. Also... Pants. You can leave the house without a lot of things, but pants would be a big mistake.

How well do you deal with crowds and attention on you?

Ahh! Crowds, I know them well. Growing up in the circus big crowds almost feel like home to me. I’ve like, never not been around a lot of people. I love entertaining, and the more people watching, the better!

What’s the next step in your career, solo or otherwise?

I have a few things currently in motion that I’ve been working on. One of them is hosting SBS Inkigayo with @vldjaemin and @vldsaeun. So far it’s been successful and quite a lot of fun, but as for the rest... You’ll have to wait and see.

Do you believe you can see nymphs on Seonimgyo Bridge at night? Why or why not?

“Only children believe in such silly things. The bridge was a pretty sight, but there was nothing inherently magical about it.” 

Did you learn anything from your visit to O’Sulloc Museum? If so, what? If you did not go, why did you decide not to attend?

“I learned that making tea takes a very long time, and I’m glad it’s not something I do for a living. I also learned that green tea flavored ice cream is delicious, even if it isn’t very good for you”
