The character I was referencing who was wearing the uniform was a white puppy character... so I did not realize the uniform had pants at all till AFTER I had already finished the drawing. XD so in this case, yes... the pants were an afterthought. These just have been nice to work on while traveling. Fleas are the worst. I honestly have been grateful to be a human who is less likely to get these little pests.
