So, um, is it 1k words in 1 hour? Also is there a set schedule because I never seem to catch your post until it’s over.

1k1h does mean 1k words in 1 hour. But you’ll find that many of us do not reach 1k, and that’s completely fine! The point is to dedicate that hour to getting new words onto the page.

There is a schedule here. A Monday-Friday schedule is usually posted on Sunday nights, and a Friday-Sunday schedule is posted on Thursday nights.

The 1k1h hosts generally keep the same schedule week to week, but we all have work schedules, school schedules, kids, lives, etc. and sometimes those schedules shift.

What Death Giveth, Death Taketh (20,141) words on AO3

They had been together through a thousand lives. Their souls bound together by the Old Gods; their union both blessed and cursed. After all, nobody could make a deal with the Devil and come out unscathed.

With Lily Potter’s blood sealing their destiny, they would come together again and again until their union completed. Each time Tom had been ripped from her before the final sacrifice could be made but no more. She was determined to keep him this time. Not even death would separate them.

In this case, Death was only the beginning. The only question is whether her sanity can survive the lengths Harry will have to go to have Tom back in her arms - for eternity.

Writing Update 10/?

So today was a really good run, I passed my goal of 15,000 and I’m ecstatic about that. I am burning out a little bit if I’m honest. 

Currently, I am 229% through the TBB min goal and 114% through my personal goal. I’ve offically stopped giving myself goals. I’m just gonna do the best I can to finish this monster.

My word count currently is 17,148. That is an increase of 4,024 words.

I’ve done a little more on DLP3. It has a title now! In Tears, the Fairest Flower Blooms cause you know, there’s angst and a bit more plot in this one! Lol.

Writing Update 4/?

So, managed to up my total to 6,550 words baby. I’m thinking I have about 3,000 words left until it’s finished but I’ve turned in my Summary and Rough Draft for the Tomarry Big Bang and that’s all that effen matters.

As of now, with the old stats I have completed 87% of my goal.

With the new stats I’m approximately 62% done.

Pray for me everybody. Special thanks to @nicky-writes, @chantal-r, and @bearholdingashark for sprinting with me, brainstorming with me, and being the best cheerleaders I could hope for (: 

It’s also worth mentioning that I have two more fics in planning: a Bughead and another Tomarry both for very special people <3 (;
