Diary Entry #1
I’ve been on here for more than a year. A lot can happen in that time, and I thought I’d make this to show that. About two years ago, a girl I had a crush on told me about this website. I joined around October/November. Since then, I’ve found friends in some unlikely places, lost others, found myself in ways I needed to, had a crush on someone else, found a way I can be alone comfortably, went to counselling for a depressed stage, found my sexuality and tried a long distance relationship. (Not the best idea.)
Now, I’m here, in the same bed in a room redecorated over and over, listening to David Bowie, and I guess, this one goes out to you guys. The ones who stuck with me in hard times, were honest with me, and those I found friends and best friends in. You all helped me in more ways than you know. So, in no particular order; James Farah Cas Becca Gabby Adka Jess Mercedes and Amy, if you’re there,
Thank you. All of you. You’ve helped me, pushed me, pulled me up, called me out, and trusted me. Thank you all for helping me become the person I am today, and most of all, for helping me be happy.
I owe you all so much, and I hope I can somehow repay you in the future.
A lot can change in a year, and I know it’s thanks to all of you that I am where I am.
